Technical SEO and website optimisation

SEO starts with pages that search engines can access and people can use. We review the technical foundations, content structure and paths from a search visit to an enquiry. For multilingual websites, the work also includes how language versions are linked and presented to search engines.

Find barriers to discovery

The technical review covers HTTP responses, redirects, indexability, robots directives, sitemap URLs and canonical links. We check whether important content and navigation are available to crawlers. Findings are prioritised by their effect on real pages, with a distinction between blocking errors and smaller improvements.

Match pages to customer questions

We review titles, headings, descriptions and internal links against the services actually offered. Separate service pages should answer distinct customer questions, using useful scope and project information. We avoid creating near-identical pages for locations where there is no meaningful local content or service difference.

Review speed and international versions

Image sizes, font delivery and loading behaviour are reviewed alongside mobile layouts. Performance findings should be checked with appropriate measurements, including real-user data when available. For language versions, we check stable URLs, reciprocal language links and consistency between each page’s content and metadata.

Measure enquiries as well as visits

With access to Search Console and agreed analytics, we can review indexed pages, relevant search queries and enquiry sources. These measurements help set the next priorities after technical fixes. Search engines control indexing and rankings; the work is assessed through observable changes rather than promises of a particular position.
